On June 2, 2013, three NEMS members (& one recruit) did the F.I.R.M. Holliston Lions Triathlon which consisted of a 0.5M swim, 15M bike, and 5M run. The course is nice and shaded but challenging with lots of rolling hills on the bike and run. Steve O’Brien, the hopeful recruit, was 4th (1st in AG) in 1:21. Chris Poulos finish 11th (1st in AG) in 1:26. Ed Bleich was 21st and 1st in his age group with a time of 1:33. And Tom Frost finished strong in 46th place with a time of 1:52.
