Everywhere you looked at this year’s Greater Nashua Sprint Triathlon you saw orange—NEMS orange! That’s because we came out in force for a great day of racing and family fun at what has become our club’s “hometown” race. Now in it’s 4th year, this race (formerly known as the Y-Tri) is ideal for everyone from first-time triathletes just getting into the sport to pedal-to-the-metal speedsters who want to go short and very, very fast. And perhaps best of all, the venue, Camp Sargent in Merrimack, NH, is set up with bounce houses to keep the kids happy, great food, clowns, ice cream, triathlon vendors, and plenty of space to just relax in the sun and enjoy some team camaraderie after the finish. This race is certainly one to consider for next season if you don’t already have it on your 2014 list.

NEMS showed off our strong team spirit and support throughout the race and came away with some hardware to show for it. The standout NEMS performance of the day went to Sarah Wilson, the 2nd-place overall female finisher. Congratulations to Sarah and everyone who raced and represented our team so well.
