Over the weekend 5 NEMS members headed to Lake Placid, NY to train on the Ironman Lake Placid course. All 5 members; Rob Charest, Greg Voyentzie, Nancy Epstein, Adam Crowley, and Colin Cook will be racing at Ironman Lake Placid come this July. Besides some rain on Saturday morning, the weather was terrific. On Saturday, everyone rode between 70 and 112 miles with a run following. Sunday, everyone swam and ran 1 loop of the run course or a little more. The trip was a lot of fun and was a great opportunity for everyone to check out the course.
